The Nightingale Private Library is a personal library collection created and managed by a Library and Information Technology student at the Ivany Campus of Nova Scotia Community College. The collection of this library is comprised of over 400 different titles from all different genres and formats with an emphasis on Fantasy and Mythology with more being added all the time.
At this time, the Nightingale Private Library's physical collection is limited only to students at the Ivany Campus of Nova Scotia Community College and the direct family of the libraries' senior staff, however, it is the hope of the founder that the collection will one day be accessible to a larger population.
In addition to this Library Catalogue, there is also a blog hosted through Blogger featuring new additions to the collection and changes to the library as well as highlighting authors and publishers that are working to make the world a better place. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to join the conversation and share their ideas and feedback on the blog in addition to our social media accounts which can be found at the top of the blogsite.
If you have any questions or concerns about the library or any services associated with it, please do not hesitate to reach out. It is our hope that patrons of the library will contribute to and help grow a community out of the Nightingale Private Library and spark conversations that will inspire and encourage others.
